Simulation
Workshop of Small Things
★★★★☆ 4.2
Workshop of Small Things puts you behind the counter of a cluttered repair shop. Customers bring broken toys, music boxes, and strange machines, and you fix them through little drag-and-tap mini-tasks. Tighten this, swap that, test it, hand it back. It's cozy work.
The loop is satisfying because the objects have character. A music box you repaired early on might come back weeks later with a note from its owner, and those small threads give the sim some warmth. Upgrading your tools opens up more complicated jobs at a comfortable pace.
It can get repetitive if you binge it, which is true of most sims. We liked it best in short daily sessions, treating it like a calm ritual rather than a marathon.
